Various traditions of the Buddhism in New York area will gather and celebrate the Vesak – Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and pari-nirvana, organized by the Buddhist Council of New York

We wil have wonderful speakers, including Ven. Bhikkhu Bodhi, Ven. Guo-Yen Shi, Lama Pema Dorje, Ven. Klint Kaevalin, Rev. Malik Hokyu Walker etc. Also we have a visiting guest monk, Most Ven. Prajna Bangsha Mahathero from Bangladesh.

DIRECTIONS F subway from down town to uptown. Get of all the way end, 179th station. This is the last stop of uptown F sub way. Come out from the south side of the station to Hillside Ave and get Q 1 bus toured east.The way that street numbers are ascending.Get off 215 place and cross the road (Hillside Ave) and come two blocks through 215 place and you can see the temple on your left side.
